Our Projects

Paduwa sa Kabataan

“Paduwa sa Kabataan-Children’s Games” is a sports for peace and sports for all program initiated by our founder, which we at the RSF Foundation intend to adopt. It encourages the value of sports among the young and developing character in kids ages 12 and under.

Aside from the usual benefit on physical well-being, the children’s games aim to promote sports as a tool for peace, unity and harmony. More than a month after its launch, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), recognized the Children’s Games Program in July 2017.

Kids learn strength of character, responsibility, leadership and care for others.

The RSF Foundation Sports Open

The RSF Foundation Sports Open, on the other hand, is a sports program for the 13-18 year old children-athletes. It was a project which was first introduced in 2018 by our founder, then Commissioner Fernandez known as “The Visayas Open” where qualifying rounds were held in Naga City, Cebu, Iloilo City, Panglao in Bohol and the finals in Cebu City.

The first RSF Foundation Sports Open will feature 15 sports like archery, arnis, athletics, basketball, badminton, boxing, chess, football, gymnastics, karatedo, lawn tennis, table tennis, taekwondo, weightlifting and volleyball. It initially intends to gather children-athletes aged 13-18 in the 15 focus sports. Each participating locality will conduct a qualifying round to culminate in the finals to be held in the capital city of the area.

Housing Program/Scholarships

The RSF Foundation is adopting the “holistic approach” to the overall development and evolution of our beneficiaries and targeted communities: from physically inactive and nutrition-challenged children to healthier, more sociable, physically active children to grassroots level children athletes and ultimately to successful elite athletes in the national level to the international stage and productive and successful citizens of the country and thus liberating themselves from the clutches of abject poverty.

Our advocacies for a free, quality and accessible education through scholarships and housing programs will serve as follow through which will eventually become the catalysts for the desired outcomes in the lives of our beneficiaries and their families.
