The 3rd El Presidente Cup is set to further strengthen Ramon “El Presidente” Fernandez’s advocacy of youth development through sport as it returns on April 24 at The Orchard Golf and Country Club in Dasmariñas, Cavite. Organized as a one-day golf-for-a-cause event, the tournament channels its proceeds to the Ramon S. Fernandez Sports and Youth Development Foundation, which supports deserving but under-resourced young athletes across the country.

Staying true to its mission, this year’s edition puts the spotlight on junior golfer Charles Serdenia, one of the foundation’s standout beneficiaries, who has committed to play collegiate golf for Southern Utah University in the United States. The El Presidente Cup helps sustain Serdenia’s training and international campaigns, embodying the foundation’s vision of using sport as a pathway to higher education, global exposure, and personal growth.
Beyond fundraising, the event gathers a diverse community of business leaders, corporate executives, golf enthusiasts, and sports advocates who share Fernandez’s belief in the power of sport to shape character and transform lives. By turning a premier golf tournament into a platform for social impact, the El Presidente Cup continues to deepen its commitment to giving the next generation of Filipino athletes a fighting chance to compete, excel, and inspire.
